Malaysia's seasoned campaigner, Alex Liew wins the Euro-Med Storm International 2012 title in style.
Our lanky southpaw, Alex produced one of his best performances today to defeat arch rival, Remy Ong of Singapore in a highly charged atmosphere.
Challenger, Remy started off the epic duel by reeling seven consecutive strikes while Alex had a opening strike, followed by a 9 spare. Alex then reeled 10 consecutive strikes home to shut out Remy with an outstanding 280 game. The whole Malaysian team went into frenzy mood, cheering our winning bowler for his gigantic battle. |
With an unassailable margin to beat, Remy Ong hit a 7 split in his last frame and ended his game on 247.
After the match, Alex paid tribute to his team mates, coaches and officials for their strong support in cheering him to victory. " It's nice be be back on the podium finish".
Hence, our Malaysian bowlers shown proof that we are the team to be reckon with in the International field. Don't play play with us, Malaysians.
