TEAM MALAYSIA AT DAEJEON INTERNATIONAL 2012

Team Malaysia has arrived safely in Daejeon after a 2.5 hours bus drive from Incheon International Airport on Saturday July 14.
Our bowlers were in action on the lanes yesterday and today.
Upon their completion of the compulsory 3 series of 3 games qualification, birthday boy, Adrian Ang leads the Overseas pool when he chalked up the 3 series total of 2010 today. Adrian who celebrated his 24th birthday at the bowling center with his teammates today, started off with a 625 series and followed up with a 727 series. Combined with his 658 series bowled yesterday, Adrian overtook previous board leader, Remy Ong of Singapore who had 1963 series total.
Lanky Syafiq Ridhwan is currently on 5th place with series of 662, 628 & 604 for a 1894 aggregate; followed by newcomer, Isaac Russel Paul on 8th place with series of 660, 606 & 576 for a 1842 combined total. Southpaw, Nur Aiman is one rung below with series of 662, 607, 570 for a 1839 index; Alex Liew is placed 11th with series of 637, 603 & 590 for a 1830 combined total. Zulmazran Zulkifli finished on 15th place with series of 622, 569, & 568 for a 1759 aggregate and Aris Ardila picked up 18th place with series of 603, 572 & 544 for a 1719 index.
In the Women's division, Siti Safiyah gave an improved performance today with series of 647 and 686. With her 490 series bowled yesterday, Siti climbed up to second spot on 1823 accumulated total behind board leader, Jazreel Tan of Singapore. Esther Cheah completed her 3 series with 1778 total for a 7th position, followed by Sin Li Jane on 8th position with 1754 series total, Sharon Koh on 9th position with 1662 series total and 10th placed, Jacqueline Sijore with 1641 accumulated total.
Our bowlers would be back in action tomorrow, the last day of qualification.
