Malaysia's Esther Cheah defied the odds to capture the Daejeon International Women's Masters crown this afternoon in a nail biting finale.
Esther Cheah started off on a good footing when she reeled two consecutive strikes, a nine spare and accelerated with another four bagger for a slender lead half way into the game. Esther finished off the game first for a 236 scoreline. Lee Na Young made a late surge to tie the game at 236 each, hence forcing the match into a one ball tie breaker.
