Choong Yee who cut down her training for several months to prepare for her SPM examination, trained very hard in the last few weeks and has improved tremendously for this tournament. Her biggest opponent is of course the regning World Cup Champion and Commonwealth Games Gold medalist - Maxine Nable who is set to bowl her event tomorrow.

Mak Choong Yee who has an impressive outing in her debut International Championship winning 2 Silvers in the Doubles and Trios at Sydney, qualified among the top 5 in the Step-Ladder Grand Finals. Choong Yee finished 5th after the 16 games match play with 3,234 pinfalls including bonus. The Malaysian Team consisting of mostly fresh national youth bowlers representing the country for the first time, performed better than expected with 2 Silver and 2 Bronze while Aaron Chin scored the only perfect game in the tournament.
The Celebrity Doubles was the highlight of day four. Each country nominated their best pair to represent their country and the teams bowled one match against the other countries. Total pinfalls determined the winners.
