The organiser is pleased to annouce that each participant and official will only be charged US$150.00 instead of US$190.00 as stated in our previous circular. The US$150.00 for each participant and official will now include 5 nights of twin sharing hotel accommodation (5/4 to 9/4), buffet breakfast, internal transport, welcoming reception, victory banquet, entry fee and game fees. Additional night stay at the hotel is charged at RM100.00 nett per room inclusive of breakfast. For single occupancy, an additional USD70.00 will be required.
The organiser we realised that there are plenty of food outlets at the shopping mall where the bowling centre is located and at walking distance from the official hotel. One has to spend only RM20 (USD5.30) or less for two meals a day outside the official hotel, which workout to be very much cheaper for the participants. Further more they will get to choose what they like to eat rather than taking the fixed buffet in the hotel which may not be satisfactory to all.

9th April, Johor Bahru: Yazliza Yang Razlan, at 13, the youngest bowler in the 3rd Aisan FIQ Schools Bowling Championship, captured the Girls' Master event defeating teammate and triple gold medallist Sharon Chai 440-419 in the step-ladder final.
Yazliza took the first game 212-181 and although she lost her second game 228-238, the gold was hers with her combined total of 440 pinfalls over Sharon's 419.
Malaysia were already assured of a 1-2 finish when Yazliza edged Singapore Team 1's Michelle Kwang 180-179 in the first match of the step-ladder finals to set up a showdown with Sharon.
Sharon finished on first after the 15-game round-robin with 3,200 pinfalls followed by Michelle (3,145) and Yazliza (3,100).
But there were no medals from the boys yesterday, the first time they finished empty-handed since the championship got underway on Thursday.
Still, Malaysia walked away with the overall title with six golds, three silvers and three bronze. At the last meet in Cebu City, Phlippines, Malaysia won only three golds.
The Boys Masters gold went to Japan's Tomokatsu Yamashita who beat Filipino J.C. Tupaz of Team Prima 1 479-450 in the two-game step-ladder. Yamashita won the first game 256-223 and although he lost the second game 223-227, the total was good enough for the Gold. The bronze went to Frederick Ong of Team Bowlmart Phlippines who was beaten 242-247 by Tupaz for a place in the final.
Little Yazliza, a student at Main Convent in Ipoh, has set high ambitions after striking gold yesterday. While dedicating the gold to her parents for the support, Yazliza, whose sister Yazlin is a Perak state bowler, said: "I have high ambitions. I want to be world champion one day. I thank my parents for the tremendous support. Of course winning the gold today is a big boost to my game."
