Annop was bowling in lanes 25 and 26 at the 8.00pm qualifying squad in the Men's Open category when he struck 12 perfect strikes for the RM50,000 cash award sponsored by AVIVA Insurance (Malaysia). He started his qualifying with a 214 in the first game and got the perfect game in the second. After that he did a poor 195 and a 157 for a total of only 867. He was so taken off by the perfect game that he probably could not concentrate.

Annop would pocket the whole of the RM50,000 if no one else score another perfect game during the last two days of the tournament. The first perfect game of an EON TD2000 Vintage Car worth RM190,000 was won by Filipino Biboy Rivera just yesterday.

The qualifying will end this evening at 12.30am and the Milo International Youth Masters finals will commence tomorrow morning
