Introduction

The 29th Malaysian National Championship, organised by Persatuan Tenpin Boling Perak in conjunction with the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress, will be held from January 26 - February 3, 2005 at Ampang Superbowl, Ipoh Parade, Ipoh when more than 300 bowlers throughout the country will be participating in this annual tournament.

At the same time, the 18th Interstate Championship will be held January 29 - 31, 2005 when 11 States will battle it out for glory. The top 3 bowlers in all four categories based on All-Events (18 games) will automatically qualify for the National Championship Masters Finals to be held on February 2 - 3. The four categories are: Men's Open, Women's Open, Youth Girl's Open and Youth Boy's Open. Each State Association will send a 4 Men, 4 Women, 4 Boys and 4 Girls to compete in the Interstate Championship
