The 34th Malaysian National Championship, organised by the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress, will be held from January 9 - 16, 2010 at Sunway Mega Lanes, Petaling Jaya when more than 300 bowlers throughout the country will be participating in this annual tournament.

At the same time, the 23rd Interstate Championship will be held January 10 - 13, 2010 when more than 10 States will battle it out for glory. The All-Events Gold medalists in all four categories based on All-Events (18 games) will automatically qualify for the National Championship Masters Finals to be held on January 16.

The four categories are: Men's Open, Women's Open, Youth Girl's Open and Youth Boy's Open. Each State Association will send a 4 Men, 4 Women, 4 Boys and 4 Girls to compete in the Interstate Championship
