Historic World Championship concludes in KL

22nd September, Kuala Lumpur: The colours, aromas and friendly hospitality of Malaysia will be treasured memories for the 1,000-plus bowlers and officials from 65 countries who attended the 15th WTBA World Tenpin Bowling Championships. The event will go down in history for its excitement, efficient scheduling and above all, its sportsmanship and camaraderie.

His confidence that he could beat anyone over a two-game finale was super strong. 19th September, Kuala Lumpur: Swedish team gold medallist gleaned another moment of glory during the matchplay rounds this afternoon by bowling the fifth perfect game of the 2003 WTBA World Championships. He achieved this feat in the 11th game of the day against the tournament leader Tim Mack, who had the unfortunate fate of bowling 244 and losing the game.

19th September, Kuala Lumpur: The action was fast and furious in the first block of the prestigious Masters Final at the 15th WTBA World Championships, with the fast-changing lead in both divisions thrilling the capacity crowd at Pyramid Megalanes.
300 - And it could be a record

19th September, Kuala Lumpur: Kimmo Lehtonen of Finland bowled a 300 in the team event at the Pyramid Megalanes tonight. Nothing special about that, we hear you remark, there have already been three perfect games in the Championships.
