- Men's and Women's competition in one center
The women's compeition of the 15th world championship originally scheduled at Ampang Superbowl, Summit USJ, has now been moved to bowl in the same center as the men's at Pyramid Megalanes, Sunway
Reason:
The synthetic lanes at Ampang Superbowl were found to be unsanctionable by our Technicla Delegate and the center owner was told to replace total new lanes at million of Ringgit. The owner was not prepared to spend that kind of money, hence left us to look for alternative. With the advice by our Technical Delegate, we managed to work out a schedule which can accommodate both men and women's competition in Pyramid Megalanes without having to increase the number of days. This is possible due to the original schedule was designed to take in 75 - 80 countries and the confirmed number of countries todate is around 60.
The Revised Schedule:
With recommendation from the Technical Delegate and the consenses from WTBA Presidium, we append below the revised schedule which will for sure be accepted by all federations, as now there will be less hectic for their coaches and managers, and the bowlers can now support their team-mates in the same venue. It will also help to reduce organising cost for the host.
Please note:
- There is no increase in the number of days of competition
- Starting and closing dates are the same
- Those teams booked earlier in Summit Hotel to accomodate their ladies team , may continue to stay in Summit where an hourly shuttle will be operated to and fro Sunway, or they may choose to move their women's team to stay with their men's team at Sunway. Rooms at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel still available.

- Digital Photos of players and officials

- Entry fee and Congress Fee
There has been some confusion over the entry fee and Congress fee and we like to clarify as below :-
- All members of the official team including players, managers and coaches - USD120/- each
- Delegate attending the Congresses with vote - USD50/-
- Delegate attending the Congresses without vote - USD100/-
Note: item b) and c) are new rules approved by WTBA Presidium to assist the host in providing three lunches and 6 coffee/tea breaks to all delegates in the three days' Congresses.

- Verification of National Anthem and Flag
We have downloaded all national anthems and flags from the internet and have now posted on our official websites www.bowlingworldchampionship2003.com or www.mtbc.org.my.
We will appreciate if you can log on to the website to verify if the anthem and flag posted are the correct one. If not kindly notify us immediately.
- Form D2 and Form H
Please ensure Form D2 and Form H are sent to us within the deadline (before July 15). You can download the forms from our website if you have misplaced the forms.
- Lanes for non official practice
Pyramid Megalanes will be open for booking at their normal business rate prior to the official practice on September 10. All bookings may be directed to the administrative office of Pyramid Megalanes at won_mitchell@hotmail.com or spin300@yahoo.com.
Booking may be limited to certain time frame per country depends on the number of countries registered for practice on the day.
- Verification of number of bowlers, officials and hotel booking
To avoid any mistakes, we shall be sending out a verification form to all federation before end of the month, to reconfirm the number of participants, officials, and hotel rooms reservation. We will appreciate if you can response to the form immediately without delay as soon as it arrives at your computer.
