- VIP Area
During the whole 15th WTBA World Tenpin Bowling Championship period one VIP-lounge will be available for important guests, sponsors, Presidium members, head of delegations, accredited press officers, members of the board of the World Tenpin Bowling Association and members of the Organizing Committee.
- Press Facilities
Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress will offer first-class press facilities during the championship. These facilities include SDSL broadband (up to 1.5MB) lines connections, up to 6 desktop computers, telephones, faxes and copiers at both the bowling venus press centre. There will be a team of computer specialists to assist you for your correspondence needs.
All equipment and communication costs will be free of charge for all accredited press officers for the total duration of the championship.
- Bus Service
No bus services will be provided to transfer participants and officials from the two official hotels to the bowling centres as they are within walking distances. Bus transfers are available for the other three official hotels on a fixed schedule for participants and officials. For non-officials (i.e. supporters, spouses and parents), bus transfers will be available to them provided they pay an "Entrance Fee".
For those who do not stay at these official hotels, they will have to make their own transportation arrangements.
Transportation for arrival and departure to/from the airport will be provided
- Entrance Fee
An Entrance Fee for each participant and official at USD120 is required as approved by WTBA. A penalty for late entry may be imposed subject to approval by WTBA Pesidium in their next Presidium Meeting.
For non-officials (i.e. supporters, spouses and parents), they will have to pay an entrance fee of US$100 (RM380.00). This entrance fee will cover bus transfers, entry into the bowling centre during the competition, Welcome Reception in the Opening Ceremony and Victory Banquet. For Delegates to the WTBA and FIQ Copngresses, they will also have to pay an entrance fee of US100 which will include lunches and coffee breaks for the three days Congresses.
- Reception
To help you during your stay, reception centres will be set up at each of the official hotel during arrival and departures. The staff will be able to assist you in all your special needs.
- Result Services
The score system used for the championship is specially customized which is directly connected to the AMF AccuScore System. Once each game is played, results will be instantly available in both display format on large screen-projection (subject to availability) and on print for team managers and coaches. At the same time, these scores will be directly uploaded to the official championship website.
- Welcome Reception and Opening Ceremony
This event will be held at Pyramid Megalanes and Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel. All teams will be notified accordingly. Our Deputy Prime Minister who will be our next PM after from October 2003 will be our Guest of Honour to declare open the Championship on September 9.

Before the championship begins, it will be used to provide you with all information needed to assist you in your preparations.
- Bulletins and Information
From now until the championship commences, regular bulletins will be sent out to all bowling federations as well as being featured here.
The next bulletin will include technical specifications, such as oiling patterns.
- Travelling to Malaysia
If you are travelling by air, you will arrive at the KL International Airport which is approximately 55km south of the city of Kuala Lumpur or 1 hour by road. From the airport to the two official hotel, travel time is about 40 minutes.
- Victory Banquet
The Banquet will be held on September 20, at 19.30hrs at the Ballroom, Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel. Entry to the Victory Banquet is free to accredited officials and participants. For non-accredited officials (supporters, spouses and parents), payment of an entrance fee of US$100.00 (RM380.00) per person would include the Victory Banquet.
- Flags and National Anthems
Please ensure that you bring 2 national flags and your national anthems (in tape or CD) for use during the Opening Ceremony and Medal Presentations.
- Photographs
When submitting participants and officials, please send separately via email digital photographs of participants and officials to facilitate us in the preparation of your accreditation tags in advance so that they can be handed to you during your arrival. Failure to submit digital photographs will result in the delay of accreditation tags being ready when you arrive.
