Dominating the capital city's skyline, the Petronas Twin Towers, currently the tallest building in the world, is the latest address for entertainment, culture, music, food and fun in Kuala Lumpur. Set in an enormous and artistically designed tropical garden, it houses an exciting discovery centre, a stunningly beatiful concert hall and an unusual art gallery, all of which are connected to a shopping gallery and food court.

Public Transport:
Any bus from KL to Lot 10 or Bukit Bintang will take you there. Taxis to Kompleks Budaya Kraf are available from Lot 10, Bukit Bintang and KLCC.

Preserved and refurbished, Central Market is today a must-see venue for all visitors


As implied by its name, Central Market is located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, just by the confluence of the Klang and Gombak Rivers where the city was first founded. It is firmly entrenched in the small business district and is just a stone's throw from the ever-popular Chinatown (Petaling Street).

Dressed in comforting pastel pink and baby clue, Central Market is Malaysia's unique arts cum culture cum entertainment cum food bazaar and has been ilkened to Convent Garden in London and Fisherman's Warf in San Francisco. Originally a 'wet' fresh food market built in 1936, it was converted after much public protest, and intervention by conservation bodies and concerned individuals into a thriving, vibrant venue offering an interesting mix of tenants with emphasis on living traditional arts.
