Genting - City of Entertainment


Perched majestically atop Genting Highlands, Genting City of Entertainment is 51km from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and is easily accessible by road and cable car.

Public Transport:
By Taxi
From the Puduraya and Pekeliling taxi stands, the journey takes under 90 minutes.

By Bus
Daily express bus service, running every half hour from the Puduraya bus terminal. The fare is inlcusive of the cable car ride to the Genting Skyway.
Weekdays: 8am - 7pm
Weekends & Public Holidays: 8am - 8pm

By Cable Car
Genting Skyway, the longest cable car system in Southeast Asia and the fastest mono cable car system in the world operates from Goh Tong Jaya to Highlands Hotel at the peak. This relaxing 11-minute ride takes you high above the scenic Ulu Kali tange. The service ferries about 2,000 visitors per hour.

For guests at the Awana Golf & Country Resort, the Awana Skyway departs for the summit every 20 minutes. The ride takes 12 minutes and operates from 7am - 11pm daily.

Theme Park Hotel - Having undergone a recent transformation, the facade and lobby of the Theme Park Hotel resemble a castle incorporated with elements of the theme park. A 3-star family hotel, there are 87 double rooms, 317 triple rooms, 18 twin rooms and 23 family suites to choose from, according to your budget and needs.

First Hotel - The latest addition to The City of Entertainment, this 3-star First Hotel has over 1,500 rooms that was opened for the budget-consious visitors. The hotel also houses a large indoor theme park, shopping mall, restaurants and food court.
