A Truly Malaysian Experience

To anyone who has walked the corridors of Malaysia's shopping complexes or malls, the variety offered indeed makes it a shoppers' paradise. For anyone travelling from Europe, the spacious complexes will come as a pleasant surprise - particularly when they realise that window-shopping is done indoors in cool, air-conditioned comfort!

Each complex has its own unique character. The large variety of merchandise available is mind-boggling, ranging from speciality centres for IT, home furnishings and hyper-markets, to world-renowned brands and made-in-Malaysia products at value-for-money prices.

Most complexes are open between 10.00am and 10.00pm (although it is wise to call and check), giving shoppers ample time to indulge in this fun activity. Shopping complexes here also offer leisure facilities, such as cineplex, theme parks, amusement parks and bowling alleys. In addition, each has an exciting array of food outlets, from fast food to fine dining and everything in between. Local food alone offers Malay, Cantonese, Szechuan, Indian and Nyonya cuisine while international food covers the gamut from Japanese to Middle-Eastern, Italian and American!

It is one-stop leisure and truly Malaysian in nature. Shopping in Malaysia is entertainment for all the family regardless of age and interests.
