Number of participants surpasses last World Championship

17th July, Kuala Lumpur: The number of participants has now surpassed the last world championship for the 15th World Tenpin Bowling Championship which has now reached 372 men and 257 women. A total of 66 countries have submitted their entries when entry closed on the 15th July.

The latest countries to join the championship were Estonia, Jordan, Poland and Slovenia bringing the total from 62 to 66 countries. The total number of countries may equal the last world championship of 67 countries. This is because Iraq has submitted their entry but the organising committee cannot determine its contents because their entry was in Arabic.

"Many of the countries have begun to submit their list of men and women bowlers, including their profile. This will allow us to build up a comprehen-

Of the 66 countries, the largest contigent is Team USA with 6 men, 6 women and 10 officials while the smallest team is Armenia with just one men and one women representative.
