17th September, Kuala Lumpur: A truly talented production team is putting together an excellent daily program featuring all the events in these World Championships. The multitude of television cameras you see either stationary around the center, or in the hands of good looking cameramen, are the working tools of the superb Astro Supersports satellite channel, beaming pictures out to around 1.3 million subscribers as far afield as Brunei, southern Thailand and Singapore.

The coverage has certainly been impressive and the production team has been outstanding, all very much appreciated by the international press, who have TV sets alongside their working area in the media room. Already enquiries regarding availability of programs have been received from the United States and the Scandinavian countries.

Senior Production Manager Zainal Hajee told us: "We like producing bowling programs, we find it exciting. We cover around 12 to 15 events a year, including the Asian Tour, and would like to do more. We work closely with the Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress and appreciate their full co-operation. We hope to get an increased budget so that we can also cover some junior events, the young Malaysian bowlers are very good."
